BIS Safety Software announce the release of their new Safety Training Course
BIS Safety Software, in partnership with AMHSA, is pleased to announce the release of their new Leadership for Safety Excellence online training.
Online Leadership for Safety Excellence program is designed to help municipal supervisors understand their role in supporting their health and safety management system. It includes modules on Supervisor’s Role; Hazard Identification, Assessment, and Control; Formal Workplace Inspections; and Accident/Incident Investigation.
This new program covers topics including:
Safety responsibilities and corporate culture
How to interpret work site inspection observations, document findings, and develop appropriate recommendations
Steps for conducting incident investigations
Using the latest multimedia technology, the program was developed to be user friendly and engaging. Test questions throughout the program are used to reinforce the information presented. The program will take approximately 5.5 hours to complete, and a certificate of completion will be available if a passing mark of 80% is achieved. Users will have 3 attempts to complete the program
