Single Sign-On (SSO)
Single Sign-On (SSO) enables you and your employees to log into one of your systems and then automatically gain access to our learning management system(LMS) and courses without the need to log in again. For example, if an employee, Tom, logs into your company’s intranet to view information about a particular course, he can simply click on that course to instantly access it through our learning management system.
Single Sign-On is based on the premise that the system originally logged into has already authenticated the user and confirmed his or her credentials. In one click, your system verifies who the user is; checks to see if he or she has an account in our learning management system; if not, an account is created using the username, password, and account information from your system; logs the user into our system; adds the course to his or her account; and takes him or her directly to that course all within a matter of seconds. If the user already has an account, he or she is automatically logged into our system and taken to his or her online account where the course is waiting to be completed.

Single Sign-On (SSO) uses an encrypted signature string to let our Learning Management System (LMS) know that a user has already been authenticated through your system. The encrypted signature string is comprised of the following:
- Unique Key – This is a unique password used to access the LMS
- Company Identifier – This identifier confirms which company the user belongs to within our system
- Employee I.D. – This number is used to uniquely identify each employee
- Course I.D. – This identifier is used to determine which course or courses should be added to the user’s account
