What is Pre-Trip Inspections ?
A pre-trip inspection is a thorough check of a commercial vehicle before it begins a trip to ensure it is safe, compliant, and roadworthy. Drivers examine key components such as brakes, tires, lights, fluids, and safety equipment to identify any defects or damage that could cause breakdowns or violations. Conducting a pre-trip inspection helps prevent accidents, ensures compliance with the National Safety Code, and promotes safer roads for drivers and the public.
