Gas Detection and Safety

Online Training Course

What Does Flammable Control Mean and What are Toxic Atmospheres?

This online course focuses on keeping you safe in environments with potentially hazardous gases. It covers the detection and control of flammable and toxic atmospheres, emphasizing the features and operation of common detector tube devices (bellows and piston) and gas monitors (personal, portable, and fixed). The curriculum explores explosive ranges, toxic atmospheres, oxygen levels, flammable substances, flammable gas principles, vapor detection, and more. Join to gain practical insights and a comprehensive understanding of working with dangerous gases.

For anyone entering work sites requiring gas detection, mastering the use of gas detection equipment is crucial. Found in diverse settings like plant sites, drilling operations, and confined spaces, this equipment is vital for identifying and measuring potentially harmful gases. The training covers various devices, including personal monitors, portable devices, and fixed monitors, ensuring you can navigate different work environments. By completing this course, you’ll not only meet safety requirements for accessing such sites but also contribute to a safer work environment by effectively handling gas detection equipment.
