Proper training is critical to minimize risks when working on or around scaffolds. Every individual on a scaffold platform must be aware of potential hazards, actively work to prevent incidents, and know how to respond in emergencies. It is mandatory that all personnel working on scaffolds are properly trained.

Scaffolding operations carry unique challenges that demand constant attention and safe practices to avoid injuries, property damage, or fatalities.

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

• Determine when scaffolds should be used
• Identify key components of scaffolding systems
• Perform daily scaffold inspections effectively
• Apply safe work procedures during scaffold use
• Recognize and reduce risks associated with scaffold operations
• Implement proper emergency response steps

Note: Only qualified personnel may erect, dismantle, or design scaffolds. This training does not provide certification for those activities; additional specialized training is required.

This online course is approximately 60 minutes in length.

To successfully complete the course, a minimum passing grade of 80% is required. Learners are permitted up to three attempts to achieve this score.

Upon passing, learners will receive a downloadable certificate of completion. Additionally, a competency verification document is provided for employers who require proof of scaffold competency for their workforce.
