Workers who could potentially to be exposed to hydrogen sulfide (H2S) in excess of ACGIH’s Threshold Limit Values are required to receive annual H2S safety awareness training. Therefore, this online course is intended for employees who work with or around H2S.
This course will familiarize you with the hazards of H2S, detection methods, and best responses to H2S exposure and release. It helps satisfy the training requirements in 29 CFR 1910.1200 for those who work with or around hazardous chemicals, 29 CFR 1910.119 for those who work with or around highly hazardous chemicals, and ANSI Z390.1-2006 for those who work with or around H2S.
