Rigging Knowledge Verification


This exam comprised of 14 chapters is derived from the ASME B30 Standard and is designed to challenge the rigger’s knowledge based on the most commonly used hoisting equipment and the requirements of everyday rigging.

Many rigging components are utilized where the rigger does not realize the limitations of the equipment. This exam will aid in identifying common misconceptions and poor rigging practices and will help determine the amount of training the rigger requires.

Average Completion Time

Completion times vary depending on the number of times the information is viewed prior to finishing the course. The average completion time is 60 minutes.


Knowledge Assessment

Testing is conducted in this online course to reveal areas of rigging knowledge which may be missing. There is no pass mark, it is used to find deficiencies in the learner’s rigging proficiency.
